Terms of service
These terms cover the website and the free audit. Paid engagements are governed by the written proposal you e-sign, which spells out the service scope before any work or payment starts.
The free audit
- One scan per business. It is a diagnostic sample of your public web presence, not an exhaustive review.
- You may only request a scan for a business you own or are authorized to represent.
- The scan reads only publicly reachable content: your website, public DNS records, and public business listings. It does not log in anywhere or read private data.
- Findings describe what was true at scan time; the web changes, and a clean scan today is not a guarantee for tomorrow.
Quotes and engagements
Quotes are free, written, and valid for the period stated on them. Work begins after the proposal is signed and any deposit stated in it is paid. Scope, deliverables, timelines, and payment terms are spelled out in the proposal itself, so there are no surprises.
Acceptable use
Don't submit scan requests for businesses you don't represent, don't attempt to abuse or overload the forms, and don't scrape this site to misrepresent our services. We may decline any request, particularly those failing the authorization rule above.
Liability
The site and the free audit are provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the free site is limited to $100. Paid engagements carry the liability terms in the signed proposal instead.
Changes
We update these terms as the practice evolves and change the date below when we do. Material changes to how the audit handles data will also be reflected in the privacy policy.
